Wow! Where has the time gone this summer. T and I have been doing all kinds of neat stuff this summer. We went to the Detroit Zoo, Full Blast water park and next weekend we are heading to Milwaukee for Irish Fest. Every year my dad's side of the family meet at the Milwaukee Irish Fest for a little "family reunion." Most of my cousins saw T at Thanksgiving, but she has changed tons since then, so I am really excited to take her.
We have also been hanging out with a little girl that I use to babysit for when she was teeny! Now she is going to be 11 in August...does that mean I'm old:( We've had a pretty good time with her. It is a challenge to try to come up with stuff for an 11 year old and an 18 month old to do. But luckily the Portage library has been our best friend! T can play for hours there and L would read all day (which she has done numerous times). I think she is on her 18th book for the summer....there are definitley worse things she could be doing:) Anyways, I hope you are all having a good summer...if you have any ideas for what to do the last 3 weeks of summer, let me know.
