I am an adult again!

Wow, so what a weekend I had.
I stayed up till 2 or 3 in the morning, slept in, till almost 11 everyday! And was able to see all me friends and talk about absolutely nothing!!
I went to my friends wedding in Colorado as I said before and had so much fun...as you can see in this picture. My sister and I got to hang out a bunch, we got pedicures and manicures one day, which by the way, if you see a half naked man in the basement while you are waiting for the pedi tub, do you think it's one of "those" Asian spas? They did awesome jobs on our feet and nails:) Anyways, we had so much fun together!!
I also just got to relax with my husband and almost ( I said almost) forget that we were parents...except that everyone kept asking about her, which actually made me cry when the groom asked me how I was holding up without her....I'm such a cry baby.

Anyways, it really is nice to get away, but as soon as I got home (10pm) my hubby and I went in and (oops) woke her up to cuddle all night!! Being an "adult" is amazing but being a family...there really is nothing like it!

Vacation!!!

Husband and I are going on our first vacaion since we've had our little one. We have a wedding to go to in Keystone, Co. (Denverish) We'll be gone for 5 days!! I am a little nervous but at the same time really excited. I will be able to stay out late AND sleep in:) Also, my sister will be going, her husband and mine have been friends since elementary, but that's another story. I am really looking forward to spending time with her and catching up (they live in Illinois) without trying to have a conversation and run around after a 1 year old:) Anyways, I'll post pics when we get back. Cross your fingers that everything goes well!

Minivan...sorry...no thanks

So, we finally decided, meaning I said that there is no way I am ready, to get a minivan. We were all ready, called our fam friend and said go to auction, and then I cried "wait!!!!!!!!!!!!" We only have 1 baby (at the moment) and 2 dogs that weigh a combined total of 19lbs. Why do I have to go there yet. I know that eventually I'm going to look at Husband and say "why didn't we get a minivan" but for right now I am glad that that landmark of adulthood has not been crossed yet.
We started thinking about getting one because Husband's car was in major need of repair and we have already put tons 'o $$ into it. But it turns out, after we took it to the car place, it wasn't as bad as we thought. So, we'll ride it out another day and see what happens down the road.
Next up: Fourth of July weekend...
