While my due date is looming (about 3 weeks) I feel pretty good. The only difference with this pregnancy is the crazy sciatic pain, which the chiropractor has helped tons on! Also the hearburn started way earlier! I have also tried really hard to make sure all is ready for baby; going through all the clothes, toys, bottles, etc. I've cleaned, sanitized and reorganized everything I could. Now that it is all (mostly) done I can enjoy the holidays!
Both sides of the family will be here for Christmas, seeing that I can't go anywhere:) I'm really excited about it actually! Also, did I mention that my sister is moving here on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!
2011 is going to be great!!

Who would've thought
So, I have lived in Macomb for 5 months now! I can't believe it's been that long. However when I look down at my belly I sure can tell:) I am 31 weeks and can't believe that it has gone by so fast! We've painted the nursery and are having the carpets cleaned (finally) next week. I still need to go through the baby "stuff" but with both girls being born relatively at the same time of year, I think we've got everything we need.
Making the move not only from the westside to the eastside but from working mom to stay at home mom has been more wonderful than I thought it would be. I really thought I wouldn't be able to stay home and entertain a toddler ALL day, but it's so fun! And with where we live now, having a child has made it easier to meet new people. I think being pregnant has helped me not miss working too:) Don't get me wrong, everytime I see a FB post from one of my former coworkers about school happenings I always get a litle sad. But I know that this move was what my family was supposed to do and I think I kind of like it over here...

Preggers week 26
Tallulah is very excited about becoming a big sister. We went to the hospital today to visit the Mother/Baby unit and we took her along. We are delivering at Crittenton in Rochester. We really liked it! It reminded us a lot of Bronson, where I delivered T. They also have an awesome photography studio right in the the M/B unit!!! The nurses were super nice and all the ammenities are great. We then went to a doctors appt, where everything seems to be right on track. Passed my Gestational diabetes test, and am measuring right on. I am also proud to say that I am exactly the same weight as I was with T at this point and I started 4 lbs heavier:)
I do have to say that even though I am well into this pregnancy, every little ache still worries me a little. Anytime the doc makes a side comment about blood work, or cultures or anything my mind races and thinks about the worse case scenario. It definitley is better than the first couple of weeks, but I don't know if I'll ever fully shake the worry just because of what has been.
On another topic, I will be having Thanksgiving and Christmas at my house this year...I am due Jan 10th!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am crazy right?!

What a summer
We have had an amazing summer. After moving to the other side of the state we have had so many visitors! (thanks everybody) It was definitley a hard transition for me, and all my friends and family coming over really helped. I've lived within 5 miles from my family my whole life! So the first order of business was to get out there and meet some people. Which needless to say is not very easy when you're 30, pregnant, and have a potty training toddler:)
Walking up to another Mom at a park or a library seemed weird to me but if I was going to adjust over here I needed some "mommy support." So I did it, I made some friends with other mommies and even joined a MOPS group. I've only been to MOPS once, but had so much fun (so did T).
We have since started dance class (for T), had playdates with new mommy friends and neighbors, gone to a few Tiger's games, and even have been back to Kzoo to visit with my friends there. I miss my friends in Kzoo very much but knew I needed to start a new life over here, and you know what, I think it's going pretty good!

Oh the changes...
How to begin...well, we sold our house and moved in with my Mom in November. That was an adjustment in of itself. Then my husband got a new job...on the other side of the state! He started this past Monday and then was in the hospital with the worst bought of food poisoning they had seen! I've been back and forth looking at houses, but me and T will stay with my Mom until we find our home. Hubby is living with his Dad...are we in high school again??
I don't want to rush but with the marke the way it is, once we find a house it will take at least 6-12 weeks! That could be May!!! I can't be away from hubby that long:( I know in the long run everything happens for a reason but right now I don't know what makes me more sad...to move away from my family, job and best friends I have ever known, or to be away from hubby.
On the bright side...we're all going to Mexico in March:)
